Neighbors in Need - Resources for Unhoused Persons

In March of 2021 the Brookline Police Department Community Service Division initiated the creation of a task force aimed at helping unhoused residents and those experiencing homelessness in Brookline. The Police Department solicited involvement from various Town Departments and interested stakeholders. Ultimately the Task Force ended up being comprised of members from the Police Department, Highway Department, Brookline Community Center, Select Board, Health Department, Brookline Housing Authority, Office of Veterans Affairs, Brookline Library and other stakeholders.
